From September 2024 to June 2025, Kazakhstan exported more than 9 million tons of grain — a 60% increase compared to the previous year. The main share of exports was soft wheat, accounting for around 6 million tons.
The geography of exports is also expanding. In addition to traditional markets such as Iran, Turkey, and Afghanistan, Kazakh grain is now being delivered to Poland, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and Portugal. Exports to Iran alone increased 17-fold compared to the previous season.
For Sun Seeds partners, this translates into an even more stable and diversified supply of grain products delivered directly to Europe.
